Objective:
The SIDENCA project (Intelligent System for Risk Detection and Decision-Making in the Face of Catastrophes) aims primarily to develop an interoperable, scalable, and multisectoral platform for the management of critical information, designed to empower the various stakeholders involved in the prevention and management of climate change–related disasters.
The platform will integrate and model data from multiple sources, combining them with advanced technological developments. With a specific focus on extreme climate events characteristic of the Valencian Community—such as wildfires, floods, severe storms, and heatwaves—the platform will be accessible through a web-based geoportal, compatible with both desktop and mobile devices.
This tool will be essential for a wide range of end users, including decision-makers, policy-makers, emergency services, spatial planners, civil protection offices, and crisis coordination committees.
